Juntan firmas para impedir que se instale una antena de celular
31/08/2012 La empresa Movistar está construyendo, en la esquina de Gaddini y Juan Díaz de Solís, la base donde estará ubicado el dispositivo. Los vecinos se oponen y buscan detener la obra.

Antena, telefonía móvil, firmas, oposición, vecinos, Movistar Temerosos de los efectos negativos que, aseguran, provocan en la salud de la gente, los vecinos de Tristán Suárez están en pie de guerra contra la instalación, en la esquina de Gaddini y Juan Díaz de Solís, a sólo cuatro cuadras de la estación de tren, de una antena de telefonía móvil que está levantando allí la compañía Movistar. Por eso, juntan firmas para detener la obra.
“Las antenas de celulares son muy insalubres, por lo tanto deberían colocarse en el medio del campo y no en medio de una ciudad, donde todos los días los vecinos, chicos y grandes, porque no hay distinción, nos exponemos a la radiación que emite y que es profundamente cancerígena, entre otras muchas cosas”, comentó la vecina Dolores Macedo, que agregó: “esperemos que podamos impedir que la pongan”.
“Al parecer están un tanto apurados, porque están trabajando día y noche. Los vecinos estamos juntando firmas para parar esto”, asegura otra vecina, Jimena Rojas, que informó que las planillas fueron distribuidas entre los negocios que están ubicados en la zona. “Puntualmente se pueden encontrar las planillas en el almacén que está sobre Gaddini, casi esquina Solís, al lado del local de quiniela”, añadió.
“Espero que muchos vecinos se acerquen a firmar, porque mientras más seamos, mejor. Así podremos para esto antes de que nuestros hijos, nietos y sobrinos padezcan las consecuencias de esta locura”, cerró la vecina.
El Zonal intentó comunicarse con la empresa para conocer las características de la antena y las fechas de obra, pero no contestaron los llamados. Desde la Comuna, tampoco quisieron comentar al respecto.
Para el doctor Mario Félix Bruno, de la Sociedad Argentina de Cancerología, las antenas “no representan riesgos para la salud”. “No hay comprobación científica de que las antenas produzcan radiación ionizante, que es la que actúa sobre los átomos y lo que altera el ADN. Esto cambiaría la estructura genética y ahí aparecería la célula cancerosa”, opinó el oncólogo.
